Snare River Plan and Implementation Schedule for Hydrologic and Aquatic Study on the Snare River
North/South Consultants Inc., in association with Trillium Engineering and Lawson Environmental Services, was contracted by the Northwest Terrirtories Power Corporation to develop a plan and implementation schedule for hydrologic and aquatic study on the Snare River. The plan was developed to satisfy the requirements of the NWT Water Act licence related to operation of hydroelectric generating facilities on the Snare River. The study plan was designed to meet licence requirements for characterizing the aquatic environment and assessing minimum flow needs. Developement of the plan entailed compilation and review of studies previously conducted on the Snare River and consultation with technical advisory committee members.
