Primary Areas of Expertise - Lake Sturgeon biology and stewardship, data analysis and presentation
Craig has over 17 years of experience in fisheries and aquatic biology. Since joining North/South Consultants Inc. in 2006, Craig's professional career has focused on improving the understanding of Lake Sturgeon populations in rivers with hydroelectric development. He has led telemetry and entrainment studies, fine-scale spawning assessments, juvenile inventories, mark-recapture surveys, age-structured recruitment monitoring and stocking success evaluations. Craig is adept at presenting complex datasets in intuitive ways, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and technical reports.
