Primary Areas of Expertise - project management, EIAs, Fisheries Act compliance, and resource use
Don has worked in the field of aquatic biology and with North/South Consultants Inc. for over 35 years. He specializes in project management, aquatic impact assessment and monitoring, habitat enhancement, and offsetting measures to compensate for impacts to aquatic environments in relation to the fisheries protection provisions of the
Fisheries Act. Don has also led the resource use components on large scale resource development projects and has a strong background in the collection and use of traditional knowledge. He has provided strategic advice to clients on environmental compliance and expert testimony at public hearings.
