Ginger Gill - M.Sc., B.Sc.
Senior Aquatic Biologist
Primary Areas of Expertise - lower trophic levels, aquatic effects monitoring, CABIN project management
Ginger has been employed by NSC since 2004 and has over 20 years of experience in the field of invertebrate biology. She has participated in projects related to hydroelectric development, mining, and aquatic ecosystem health monitoring and assessments in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and the Northwest Territories. Specifically, Ginger has experience in designing, conducting, and supervising the aquatic invertebrate component (in support of fish habitat) for Environmental Impact Assessments and Aquatic Environment Monitoring Programs. She is a certified Project Manager under Environment Canada's CABIN (Canadian Aquatic Biomonitoring Network), and has utilized CABIN for particular biological monitoring assessments.
