Warren Bernhardt - B.Sc.
Principal/Senior Aquatic Biologist
Primary Areas of Expertise - aquatic impact assessment, fish habitat assessment and enhancement, marine mammal investigations, and aquatic effects monitoring
Since joining NSC in 1990, Warren has managed and participated in projects related to hydroelectric development, mining, municipal and industrial wastewater discharges, water diversion, oil and gas development, and construction monitoring in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and the Canadian arctic. Warren's expertise includes design and interpretation of aquatic monitoring programs, fish passage assessments, fish habitat assessments, marine mammal surveys, seal biology, and collection and utilization of traditional knowledge. He has extensive experience working in remote regions of the north and working with local indigenous people.
