Expert Testimony and Advice
Before most large-scale projects are granted a license by the government, the effects assessment findings are required to undergo further review in the form of a public hearing. Several of NSC's staff are recognized experts in the fields of water quality, lower trophic levels, aquatic habitat, fish communities, Lake Sturgeon biology and management, fisheries offsets, mercury bioaccumulation, and resource use and are experienced at providing testimony in support of the EIS documents that we produce. NSC has also managed and coordinated the input and testimony of experts in other environmental areas, such as the terrestrial environment.Representative projects:
