Geomatics and Technology
As defined by Natural Resources Canada, geomatics is the modern discipline which integrates the tasks of gathering, storing, processing, modelling, analyzing, and delivering spatially referenced or location information. Geospatial data and analyses are an integral component of the environmental assessment and engineering/construction support services provided by NSC. We have developed a dedicated and highly experienced team of Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing specialists and technicians, as well as database developers and administrators to collect and analyze spatial and tabular information tailored to meet the needs of each client. Our team uses the latest in software, sensors, and acquisition tools to provide complete solutions for a large variety of environmental studies.
